X magazine double page spread

The first half of the double page spread is split into three columns again like the font cover and contents its split vertically, horizontally. At the top the first section is three pictures that gradually get bigger and work their way down to the right, which makes it interesting and breaks the eye away from the text. The article is about Charlotte Church and its about her because she has a new album this is why the magazine is featuring her. The optical area proves why the magazine is featuring her as it focuses on the question about the album.  This coordinates the article together with the pictures and the text.

The second page of the spread includes one main photo of Charlotte Church from a photo shoot of her album this picture leaks into the first page connecting them together. The primary optical are on this page is a quote from Charlotte, and this stands out as its backed in orange and enlarged a lot, this is so it catches the eye of the reader
The colour scheme used in this interview pink and orange the same used in the front cover and contents page, the same colours are used on the photo’s of charlotte.

The mode of address is informal which matches with the style of charlotte in her mains one page photo, the language is informal. There are different pictures of Charlotte used to make it realistic and show her in different ways  it shows her past and future showing the change and how she is back.

In the top right hand corner of the second page is an orange highlighted box which focuses on Charlotte relating to the audience as it says ‘top tips’ as in she’s helping the reader.
