The contents page has lots of images all of major bands/ artists, this makes the contents page more interesting and breaks up the text it also helps the reader to be able to skip to the page they want by looking at the pictures.
The masthead is exactly the same as the front cover which makes it clear of the name and more recognisable for next time. The colours used are the same as the front cover as well this makes it follow a neat order.
In the middle of this contents page directly under the masthead is a brief description of what’s in this week’s article this is useful as it tells the reader what they can expect in the rest of the magazine.
The language used is childish it includes words such as ‘cool’, ‘awesome and ‘wicked’ which would attract the younger audience as it would relate to how they speak and they would think its ‘cool’ to read it.
The contents page for Pop also is divided up into three sections horizontally and vertically the top of the magazine focuses on the masthead and the main picture Justin Bieber, the second section in the middle focuses on the letter of the week and the bottom half focuses on the pictures and page numbers. At the bottom of the magazine is a list of who helped make the magazine including editors etc this is good to include to praise all that helped but for the second page i don’t think it makes it look appealing.
The fonts used are san serif again which makes the writing and magazine clear and easy to read.
Most of the same colours for the front cover are used for the contents pages which are white, blue and yellow, these colours contrast each other making them stand out against each other.
