You have completed sound research and planning for your magazine. To improve further summarise what you found out about the conventions of music magazines, and explain how this will help you to produce a successful product. Complete a production plan.
Your magazine shows a sound understanding of the conventions of magazine layout, and is beginning to make effective use of colour and images. As your magazine is incomplete you cannot currently achieve higher than a Level 1. You now need to complete your magazine immediately. To improve further you need to fill the empty spaces on the front cover including in the text boxes. Add more coverlines, and a price and date. You may want to make some of your coverlines shorter. Try using a larger font in your double page spread or adding more text to fill the empty space. Make your standfirst larger and consider using a different font or colour for it. Add pull-quotes to the image side of the double page spread. You need to add more variety to your use of fonts across your magazine.
